Hong Kong Tatler

There’s more to Hong Kong’s art scene than the celebrated shows at big international galleries. Here’s our pick of upcoming exhibitions at Hong Kong’s most influential homegrown galleries.

Screaming Books and Xiao Xu

To launch Galerie Ora-Ora’s new exhibition space in H Queen’s, the gallery is hosting a literature-themed show that includes the works of eight contemporary Chinese artists, including Halley Cheng, Peng Wei and Xu Lei. To coincide with Art Basel, the gallery is presenting a show of paintings by Xiao Xu.

Screaming Books will exhibit from March 1–17, and Xiao Xu will run from March 26–May 12
