The Hunch
Ora-Ora is delighted to announce its first collaboration with curator Cyrus Lamprecht for its 20th anniversary exhibition, The Hunch. Featuring works by Stephen Thorpe, Chino Ng, Lee Jinju, Xu Lei, Leung Pui Yi, Belinda Janousek, Wong Sze Wai, Cheng Chit Yan, and Xiao Xu, the exhibition explores intuition, belief, and uncertainty.
The Hunch marks Ora-Ora's 20th anniversary and serves as the opening chapter of Ambiguity, the second phase of curator Cyrus Lamprecht's long-term curatorial project, following the Solitude Trilogy (The Veil of Solitude, The Labyrinth of Solitude, and The Elegance of Solitude). The exhibition signifies a shift in the curatorial programme from an exploration of the experience of solitude towards a contemplation of uncertainty and intuition. Bringing together nine artists from around the world, Stephen Thorpe, Chino Ng, Lee Jinju, Xu Lei, Leung Pui Yi, Belinda Janousek, Wong Sze Wai, Cheng Chit Yan, and Xiao Xu, the exhibition responds to themes of intuition, belief, and uncertainty through diverse artistic approaches, including landscapes, animals, abstraction, and portraiture.
