This week on Ora-Ora Live we speak with Rose Li, Cassie Liu and Janet Wong about university life and their goals and aspirations for the future.
Rose Li is an art practitioner and researcher who practices Cantonese Opera. She studied fine arts in The Chinese University of Hong Kong afore pursuing a doctoral degree in Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University. Intrigued by the intertwining dimensions of stage, her current research aims at revisiting the tradition of Cantonese Opera through contemporary artistic practice, with grounding from personal experience of performance.
Cassie Kaixin Liu is an artist and writer based in southern China. Her interests lie at the intersections of visual arts and critical theories. A most recent multi-identity is an exile at home, self-appointed professional, and unqualified verbalist. She graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University, and works in the field of contemporary arts.
Janet Wong recently graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University. During her final year, she was the President of the Committee of BA (VA) Graduation Exhibition 2020. Although she is aiming to become a curator, she is now exploring in participatory practices, encouraging connection and interaction between viewers, artworks, and space-time.
