Yu Hongbo

Born in 1984 in Yaan, Sichuan, Yu Hongbo graduated from the Chinese Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute with Bachelor Degree in 2007. He is currently Master Student of Chinese Painting at Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.

To him, an artist’s work should, with every effort, displays a personalized mood and feeling, and this unique personalized mood and feeling should manifest and reflect the artist’s independent thinking and conceptualization of ideas.Usually, this kind of personalized mood and feeling is a kind of inspiration, with the elements of spontaneity and coincidence. Reflection provides a good opportunity and space for inspiration to surface.
