Lai Jing

Born in Chengdu, Lai studied in the is graduated from the Fine Art Department of Sichuan Education College in 2001 and studied a master degree at the Chinese Painting Department of Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts. She is a founding member of the Paio Yee Group.

To Lai Jing, life is a circle. Everything in the circle experiences the process of sprouting, extending, evolving and vanishing. From the very beginning, the circle is empty and slowly enriched. Everyone fills the space in his/her own way. Her works can be said to be the condensation of her dreams and fantasies, which are so short and uncontrollable, but responding the past and the future in an instant.
