Moving to the South coast of NSW in 1990 provided his greatest inspiration from the ocean, this current coastal theme has led to an International market for his works. His signature coral reef subject coloured in a serene blue paint combines realism with the intimate textures of the subject, encapsulating a sense of meditation that invites viewers to experience tranquility and contemplate on the fragile beauty of nature.
As he paints to record his encounter with the nature at different times like composing a visual diary, his other paintings of seashore and skyline become a precious memento of the day, moving deeply the viewers’ heart and mind. Through the art, the artist wishes the environment to be preserved.
